Ophcrack is a free open source window password recovery tools that help you to recover your windows password. It cracks Windows login passwords by using LM/NT hashes through rainbow tables. In order to use Ophcrack you just need a Blank CD and a computer to install files.

Steps how to use Ophcrack

Step-1 First of all you have to Download the Live CD image from Ophcrack’s project page and burn the image into Disc.

Step-2 Put the disc into the computer that you want to crack the password and then just boot off the disc.

Step-3 The first screen will give you three options

  • Graphics mode – automatic
  • Graphics mode – manual

What Do You Need?

  •  A USB flash drive with more than 1GB capacity, or blank CD or DVD.

Step-6 You just have to reboot your pc and you will be able to log into the administrator account without having the password
